Meet the Founders

Derek Bloom is a licensed Master Plumber with a special focus on residential plumbing and boiler installations. A native of the Carlton/Cloquet area, he’s known for meticulous craftsmanship and practical problem-solving. Outside work, Derek enjoys snowmobiling and relaxing at his hunting shack.
Reid Larson is the go-to HVAC troubleshooter — the kind of technician other pros call when a tricky repair pops up. Originally from southeastern Minnesota and a college graduate from South Dakota, Reid moved to Esko in 2019. Today, he balances work with family time and Northwoods adventures with his three kids.
