Rooted in tradition and inspired by craftsmanship, Labrador Woodworking LLC is where timeless design meets personal story. Founded by Cody Crisel and named in honor of his loyal Labrador, this bespoke woodworking business specializes in custom-built hardwood furniture designed to reflect each client’s unique vision and lifestyle.
From the first consultation to the final product, Cody works closely with his clients to bring their ideas to life—whether it's a handcrafted coffee table, detailed liquor cabinet, built-in bookshelves, or intricate trim work. Each piece is carefully planned and crafted, with thoughtful choices in wood species, finishes, and custom details.
“I make coffee tables, end tables, bookshelves, living room décor, liquor cabinets, intricate trim work, full suites, and much more,” says Crisel. “I also use a CNC machine to incorporate custom logos and artisan hardwood designs.”
Cody’s passion for woodworking began at a young age, when he learned under the mentorship of his grandfather, Dean Olson of Olson Builders. From hours spent in the workshop to hands-on time at job sites, Cody absorbed techniques and values that now shape every piece he creates. After his grandfather passed, Cody inherited the very workshop where he now builds—a space filled with legacy and purpose.
Utilizing traditional methods and high-quality hardwoods like cherry, ash, walnut, and maple, Cody ensures every piece is built with durability, beauty, and functionality in mind.
Appointments are required and can occur either in Cody’s shop or onsite at the project location for a personalized walk-through.
