Community Memorial Hospital (CMH), a regional hospital, opened in Cloquet in 1958 and was constructed upon land donated by Northwest Paper Company (which today is Sappi). CMH is independently owned and operated with over 500 employees across its campus facilities: the Hospital, the Raiter Family Clinic, and Sunnyside Health Care Center. Ninety percent of the care you need can be delivered locally. Community Memorial Hospital offers a full range of medical services, including general and orthopedic surgery, birthing suites, women's health services, an outpatient specialty clinic with visiting specialists, and an extensive educational program for individuals with specific health conditions. Recently, Blue Cross Blue Shield funded a grant for CMH on "Cecilia Models," providing hands-on experience with various types of birthing issues during delivery so that staff is well trained. These Cecilia Models will also allow CMH to host trainings.

Modern and comfortable patient rooms. Each light-filled room is equipped with flat-screen TV and WIFI; some rooms have a special lift system attached to the ceiling to make transfers more comfortable, safer, and more efficient.
CMH Raiter Family Clinic is a newly-merged primary care facility. The clinic is staffed by experienced physicians delivering expert health services for the whole family. No referrals are required for: Ear, nose, and throat specialists, Orthopedics, the Pain Management Clinic, Advanced Wound Clinic, or Women's Health. A physician's referral is required for: infusion therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, pediatric rehabilitation program, sleep clinic, speech therapy, general surgery, and high-tech imaging.
The intensive Care Unit has four modern patient rooms, all equipped with the latest technology.
Onsite Specialty Clinic includes Women's Health, the Pain Clinic, our general and orthopedic surgeons, and visiting specialists who offer a full range of medical services and the convenience you've asked for.
Excellent Urgent Care/Emergency Services. CMH has been designated a Level IV Trauma Center, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3.
CMH provides excellent medical care for women at the Birthing Suites. Unlike the regional hospitals that no longer deliver babies, CMH is committed to caring for women through pregnancy and delivery and providing professional lactation consultants and other services for new moms and their babies.
High-quality in-house Imaging Services include digital radiography, CTs, MRIs, 3D mammography, ultrasound, cardiac stress testing, monitoring, EKGs, echocardiography, and nuclear medicine. Expert radiologists on staff.
Onsite Laboratory performs routine and emergency lab testing 24/7 on modern, automated, state-of-the-art equipment.

Infusion Therapy allows individuals receiving chemotherapy or other infusion therapies to complete their treatment close to home and work.
