When Sabrina Anderson and her husband moved from Alexandria to Cloquet, Minnesota, they weren’t just changing their address—they were embracing a lifestyle. After years of camping, trail riding, hiking, and exploring the Northland, the couple decided it was time to call it home.

"We love it up here," Sabrina shares. "The people are so welcoming—it's a true slice of small-town America. We chose Cloquet for its size, charm, and proximity to Duluth. After work, we hop on our ATVs and are on the trails within 15 minutes. It’s the perfect life for us."

But Sabrina’s adventures don’t stop at the trailhead. During the week, she works full-time at the Carlton County Historical Society (CCHS) and part-time for the Pine Knot News. On the weekends, she steps into her passion project as the dynamic force behind DJ Sabrina Entertainment.

“I love being a DJ. I have a great time—and more importantly, I know the impact I can make,” Sabrina says. With over 15 years of experience and a massive personal library of more than 40,000 songs, she’s made it her mission to create unforgettable experiences for weddings, banquets, corporate events, block parties, family reunions, and more. Whether she's entertaining a cozy gathering of 35 or a lively crowd of 900, Sabrina brings energy, professionalism, and heart to every event.

“The wedding day is one of the happiest days of someone’s life. It’s a huge responsibility to help make it everything they dream of,” she explains. “I tailor each event to fit the couple’s vision and keep everyone entertained. I know I’ve done my job when people I’ve never met come up to hug me and thank me. That’s the greatest reward.”

While word of mouth has been her strongest marketing tool, Sabrina is now shifting her growing business from Alexandria to serve the Cloquet, Duluth, and Superior areas. As she expands her reach, her philosophy remains the same: “You have one chance to get your event right. You get what you pay for.”
